Today's Burning Question

This morning found Sneaky and me burning with the eternal question; continue to watch the Today Show/ browse blogs in the living room ( AKA home of the big TV)or go back to bed? Then I had the most amazing flash of inspiration. You really can have it all! Currently Sneaks and I are in bed, with the TV on, writing blogs ( plans to resume browsing asap), drinking coffee.

Where Have All the Comments Gone?

I'd like to think this has more with me changing my blog address than failing to provide anything of value to those in the blogosphere, but who knows. Bluemoon81.blogspot.com now features futons. How odd. Seriously thinking about deleting myspace, but then I would miss drinking red wine and laughing with Dina over what people from WHS are doing now ( besides living at home).

In the spirit of high school memories flooding my brain, here's a math problem for you.

Considering that I met my husband after college and have been with him longer than I was in high school, and spent the normal amount of time at both places, how pathetic are the people in the WHS class of 99' and older for still living at home?

Aunt Flo's Favorite Recipes

Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake

6 scoops good chocolate ice cream
5 ice cubes
1/3 cup or so reeses PB
milk to cover ice cream

Blend on high 2 mins
stir
blend till smooth

pairs well with Advil, DVR, heating pad, laptop, and couch



Chocolate Almond Milkshake
Same recipe as above
skip PB
add hershey kisses w/ almonds


Friday's frozen queso ( in freezer section)
put in micro
chop chives and olives
pull out
dollop w sour cream
grab bag of chips
garnish

watch a girlie movie covered in couch and blankets

A Miami Jew's Blue Heaven

Samstyl brought me back a bagel from her weekend in NYC. (Yes she's quite the jetsetter, and yes, I'm jealous) . I am enjoying it right now with Einstein's cream cheese. Damn I forgot how good a NYC bagel is - ( an how messy, the Vaio is not appreciating getting a cream cheesy keyboard.
Oh well.

Good Morning Reprieve!

As much as I love my MIL, I love even more having an extra day to prepare for having a visitor. Now my cleaning of yesterday seems more industrious than last minute and I have until dum dah! 3 pm tomorrow to have the house and animals in order. As I speak Sneaky and Lucky - Lu - Lu are fighting behind my back, literally, since i'm spooning my laptop on the couch watching dateline at the moment.
